Jessica posted this Flickr group called Signs In Motion on her blog. It’s quite the find. It’s a collection of videos of old Neon signs with animated sequences or moving parts. The signs are a dying breed nowadays and this group’s purpose is to at least capture them before someone switches them off permanently.
The above Boulevard Drive-In sign is my favorite, but there are a ton more after the jump, including a really cool Western Auto sign circa 1952.
