Redesigned Boarding Passes
Some of the world’s biggest companies get along with some of the worst designs and its unbelievable. Tyler Thompson decided enough was enough on a recent flight, and came up with some concepts for a Delta Airlines Boarding Pass redesign. He also asked for submissions from other designers. More after the jump.

Hi.
This is impressive work. One thing that you may want to consider if you iterate this work is the following use case:
When flying from La Guardia NYC to Chicago, customers often/usually leave from the Marine Air Terminal, which is separate building a 10 or 15 minute bus-ride from the main terminal.
The current boarding passes/itineraries include by do not highlight this information at all, which could be disastrous for a traveler without a substantial cushion of extra time. On a recent trip, I was one of 4 people who went to the wrong terminal cleared security and only realized that I was in the wrong place when I couldn’t find my flight.
Best,
Terence
