There are a few artists who I see that make me wish I lived in the worlds they created. Bombo, aka Maurizio Santucci, is now one of those artists. He is an illustrator based in Lucca, Italy and has some of the most playful stuff I have seen in a while. He has the uncanny ability to make pretty much anything look cute, including the above oil drenched raindrops. Check out more of his work after the jump.
Bombo also did a great installation at Seize Galerie last year that you can see in the video and images below. I wish I had known about it/just happened to randomly been in Italy while it was going on.
