abe lincoln facebook

Have you ever wondered what Abe Lincoln’s Facebook posts would have been like, if he used Facebook?  No?  Me neither, but now I know!   What seems like a really silly thought is actually very funny after all.  Wylo at Cool Material has somehow uncovered the Facebook history archives, and displayed them for our enjoyment.  READ THE REST after the jump…

Brontosaurus (actually apatosaurus) was a Jurassic beast. It did not live in the Cretaceous, when the asteroid wiped out much of the KT boundary fauna.

found this all hilarious, though I liked it better when you changed “church” to “catholic church”. the reformers were big supporters of the new sciences, and some of the great scientists of that era were protestants too.

I really like the platform here. Well done and gave me a good laugh. I have to ask, why you left out the Muslim armies’ invasions of Byzantine Christian lands before the Crusades even began? The user name “Native Muslims” is also a misnomer, because the Muslims residing there invaded, occupied and force converted the land. Of course, I shouldn’t be complaining or over critical of a joke. I got the same narrative in high school and college, hence the the “public” aspect of the school. Great stuff, though!

Alabama, Mississippi, and Arkansas….. but no South Carolina?

  • Zodiaccupuncture

Hahah omg this is seriously the best thing on the internet! I didn’t understand half of them though but this is a totatally cool way to teach history! we should just get rid of stupid boring dumb textbooks and rewrite history books as if they were told from a social media standpoint! Imagine if historic figures used twitter!! Their tweets would be like 10x funnier than these facebook posts!

this makes me violently sick. These are the people who will be voting in november, remember that.
