At a certain point in everyone’s life, there is a need for a change of campuses. Ours is coming June 1st with the move to a new office on 7th street, a couple of blocks east of I-35. We haven’t been posting too much this week because we have been doing a lot of real estate searching. Our final candidate was this little nugget which will finally fulfill many of the things we have wanted in a studio. Though 301 Chicon has been a great location for the time we have worked here, it has never been exactly what we wanted, therefore the need to change.
At our new spot there is a nice outdoor patio (where I can grill), a large open lounge area with a huge kitchen, and two separate offices (one for photographers and one for the designers). Casey and I ran over there today so he could snap a quick shot of the exterior. The door you see leads in to the lounge and meeting area, while there is a staircase that leads downstairs to our workspaces directly inside and to the right.
A happy hour/field day is in the works for shortly after we move in. Stay tuned.
