Out of the blue my illustrator friend, Andy Smith, sent over his latest silkscreened zine entitled “My Nose Smells Funny.” Andy’s zines are always nicely printed, funny, charming, and this one is no different. This 10 page screen printed book is made in an edition of 200. Available here!
I was sorry to read that Souther Salazar hurt his back, but selfishly glad to see that he put together a time lapse video while stuck in bed. His sculptural installation called Alejandro and the Idea Machine, was exhibited last month at the Fumetto Comix Festival in Lucerne, Switzerland. I love his dense, colorful, imaginative, collages, paintings, drawings and sculptures, and I’m hopeful that his latest zine will be available once again in his etsy shop.
