Flickr user powerpig posted this very real Space Invaders project he built using a slew of Star Wars legos. Vintage video games, Star Wars and Legos may be one of the greatest combos in the world. There are some other angles of the project after the jump.
I recently came across the blog Project Thirty-Three, a treasure chest of vintage album art. All of the records were collected and scanned in by Jive Time Records. Do yourself a favor and take a peek at all the great colors, shapes, and typography.
DISCLAIMER: Smoking will F you up in the long run. Don’t do it.
I had no idea that Camel Cigarettes were the smoke of choice of our nation’s doctors. I also didn’t know that Barney Rubble and Fred Flinstone were the smoke break types. If you had grown up during the era of heavy cigarette advertising, you would know these things since smoke ads were so much more blatant back then. Watch the other clips after the jump and learn other smoking facts like ViceRoy cigarettes “have a thinking man’s filter and a smoking man’s taste”.
I really enjoy James Kaczman’s vintage style illustrations. I’m pretty certain that most of his work are acrylic paintings…not just some drawings on cheap printer paper like myself. To top it off he has a BFA from Massachusetts College of Art and studied graphic design at RISD.
PUBLIC SCHOOL is a group of creative folk working on the east side of Austin. 2 photographers and 5 graphic designers doing our best to show you everyone's best.
