Alphabet is a wonderful animated depiction of the, well, alphabet through the use of the first letter of different famous font names. It’s great to see them drawn out and disappear almost immediately thereafter. Around here though, we feel like Futura bold was a glaring omission.
Seth Akkerman of Pseudo Suede Studios sent in this beautiful video they just did for the equally beautiful song Fool’s Quest by Rowan Converse. If you’ve got a case of the Mondays, sit back and let this take your mind off of things.
NASA yesterday test fired their DM-2 rocket this week, which is their biggest-ever solid rocket engine. The video is a little slow to start with the long countdown, but turn down your speakers for the firing, because I’m not playing when I say biggest-ever.
Before there was eHarmony there were VHS tapes with a collection of dudes pleading their case to folks across the country. This is one such tape and its a good one. Enjoy the awkwardness that you are about to watch.
