This poster, for the band SEX BOB-OMB (a fictional band in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World) is the work of our very talented friend Kevin Tong. If you’ve ever been to Flatstock or Renegade you’re probably already familiar with his work. If you aren’t, you should check it out. Kevin creates some of the most intricate and detailed posters you’ll ever see. The complexity of his work blows my minimalist mind to bits.
The best part about the SEX BOB-OMB poster is that Kevin documented his design process and created a 2-minute clip for YouTube which can be seen after the jump.

Similar amusing posters have been created in attempt to solve other design dilemmas, but this one is among the most useful. Do you need a new logo? See it full size here.

It’s a good thing I found Michael Paukner‘s work yesterday or otherwise you’d be at a total loss for where the next solar eclipse paths are leading up to 2025. You also wouldn’t know how many satellites every country has up in space or where all the oldest trees are in the world. It’s a really good thing I found his work.

Telegramme is a studio from London thats firing out some really nice posters and are also developing a strong design portfolio.

While it might not be the most useful typeface, Varun Vachhar‘s Console Font poster would look great on the wall of any gamer. Inspired by the poster for the movie Objectified, the letterforms are made from gaming hardware – new, old and sometimes obscure.

Tweed Tom‘s poster on the First ______‘s is pretty cool. I love the tagline at the top. See closeups and a couple more of his posters after the jump.

The Duda is one of my favorite recent finds that I’ll probably be buying. Bill Green has a few Lebowski and other film related posters for sale at his shop.

I’m filing these under “Things I wish I knew I wanted for Christmas about a month ago”. I just found them today and am in love. Ross Berens designed these beautiful informational posters that make me wish I was 8 years old again and going to Space Center Houston with my Dad.

File this as another “Why did I think of that?” post. I’m really digging on this poster idea by Eivind Soreng Molvaer. Head over there and see some of his other clean type based work.

I’m in love with this poster by Brandon Schaefer. Growing up Ghostbusters was my favorite flick (aside from Back to the Future 2). Check out the rest here including some well known ones from our friend Olly Moss.
