My opening at Land Gallery was absolutely amazing! Portland’s finest showed up and treated me like family. Big thanks to Pat & Amber for having me and to Kate, Cliff, Nicole, Ben and Meg for being so clutch. I met so many wonderful people and made real life friends with long time internet friends! After the jump you can see some rad photos by Pat and a video made by Aaron of FortPort!

Interviews from the Cool Table: Kate Bingaman-Burt

Zines

Continuing with our lunchtime interviews we get to hear from the busiest and most enthusiastic maker I know, Kate Bingaman-Burt! She has played a crucial role in the development of design students around the country , including myself. Kate endlessly injects her personality and contagious attitude into whatever she does. Check out what she has to say about Stephen Malkmus and her love for typography.

STUFF I’VE SEEN

I’m excited to share that I’ll be in Portland, Oregon the first week of November for a solo exhibition at Land Gallery! The show will feature work inspired from my childhood days of pogs, MJ, basketball, Boy Scouts, as well as other routine wackiness.

It’s going to be an NW adventure jam packed with a trip to the Nike campus, a guest lecture at PSU, staying at the Ace Hotel, meeting up with long time internet friends in the flesh and drawing!
