Friederike Brandenburg is a German photographer that explores the relationship between untouched land and decaying and abandoned civilization. Almost like Robert Adams’ New West her landscapes become artificial, only these abandoned objects now live in unity with their surroundings. My favorites after the jump.
Nature’s Art is selling some amazing one-of-a-kind leaf cuts. To create these incredible illustrations, the artists carefully cut and remove layers of a Chinar leaf’s surface. Between the curing, drying and cutting of the leaf, the total process involves 60 steps. They have a PDF catalog of work as well as a PDF explaining the entire process here.

PUBLIC SCHOOL is a group of creative folk working on the east side of Austin. 2 photographers and 5 graphic designers doing our best to show you everyone's best.
