Goodfellas is easily my favorite gangster movie from back in the day. Seeing this scene turned in to a Goldenbook made my day today. Pixar artist, Josh Cooley has turned many of your favorite R-rated movie scenes in to Goldenbook themed collection called Movies R Fun. More after the jump.

As a child we used to rent VHS tapes from Video Hut around the corner from my house. It was the type of place that used to keep all the tapes behind the counters, so you’d just browse the empty boxes on the shelves. I was constantly sucked in by the highly detailed covers of the Back to the Future. It is easily the series of movies I rented the most as a child. Apparently the man behind those elaborate covers also did the covers of Indiana Jones, Star Wars, and E.T. to name a few other movies you might know. While digging around the internets this morning, The Ministry of Type turned me on to this beautiful collection of end credits from Warner Bros films. The one pictured above is from Lady Windermere’s Fan. Along with each end credit is the title card of each film that appears when you roll over the image. Thankfully there are collections like this that remind us of a time when things weren’t designed using an offshoot of Papyrus.
