Screen shot 2011-06-24 at 10.34.31 AM

Our buddies over at Ptarmak just finished up this amazing dream-like music video for the track “Last Know Surroundings” by Exlposions in the Sky. This just happens to be the band’s first ever music video, check it out after the jump!

Where Will You Go?

Airport

Working with Gowalla is always a blast and this time wasn’t an exception on my first ever animation project. This promo video provides a peek into the wild world of the Gowalla brand, capturing the fun of connecting with others when live action and drawings collide! I worked alongside Malcolm from Rebel Rebel on the animation and he made my drawings wiggle and romp. Check it out after the jump!

Mister Morphosis = Dance Worthy Line Art

Mister Morphosis

Producer Harry Jen (voice, animation) and Boinx Multimedia (post production) kill it with this stop motion piece. Plus the song is a jam! Get your dance on after the jump.

Tom Rainford

Tom Rainford

My not-so-bold prediction of the day: Tom Rainford has a long a successful illustration and animation career ahead of him. As a student at Winchester School of Art, Tom is producing incredibly charming work. I’m already a big fan of his illustrative style and the quirky nature of his short animations and I’m looking forward to see where his creativity takes him moving forward.

Click through to check out his newest piece “Grocery Day” as well as the animation that accompanies the image above, “The Strange and Mysterious Signal”. (Thanks to our pal Christie Young for the heads up)

Alphabet

thealphabet

Alphabet is a wonderful animated depiction of the, well, alphabet through the use of the first letter of different famous font names. It’s great to see them drawn out and disappear almost immediately thereafter. Around here though, we feel like Futura bold was a glaring omission.
