Our very talented friend, Mr. Ryan Rhodes invited Jay B out to Johnson’s Backyard Garden to get a feel for what Community Supported Agriculture groups are like. Jay B and Matt went by yesterday and had a great time. See a quick video and Jay B’s reward after the jump.
Jay B is working with Ryan on a full length story about Johnson’s Backyard Garden and the people who are involved, so we won’t get super involved with the details on this post. Just suffice it to know for now that its a community driven farm, and if you go volunteer you get a half bushel of fresh veggies to take home. Matt and Jay B helped with a bunch of the sorting and packing today which you can see in the video below. Stay tuned in the coming weeks for the photo series on the little farm that started in a backyard and now feeds tons of people a week on locally grown organic produce.
