Can Pantone swatches represent history? Not as they stand currently, but with small adjustments they could. Matt Stevens did just that with his representations of big events that happened in the preceding 17 years to now.
It was part of a project for the studio Number 17 and is one of my favorite creative endeavors of the year. That’s saying a lot. The simplicity and thoughtfulness goes a long way in my book.
