Dubstep Dispute

Screen Shot 2012-07-10 at 12.22.37 PM

I’ve been known to be the old man at the studio when it comes to music, so Dubstep isn’t exactly my thing. That being said, this video is pretty rad. It’s Jason Giles‘ interpretation of what Dubstep actually is.

Kids Reenact Sabotage

Screen Shot 2012-05-15 at 9.29.38 AM

James Winters got with his wife, two kids, and his nephew last weekend to produce this tribute to MCA. What better (and cuter) way to pay tribute than to dress up kids as adults and have them reenact Sabotage, one of the greatest music videos of all time? That’s exactly what they did. Scenes from the Suburbs

I am really excited about the forthcoming film from Spike Jonze, Scenes from the Suburbs. The movie was made in collaboration with members of The Arcade Fire and tells the story of a suburban neighborhood taken over by the military. Also, a little added bonus, the movie was filmed in my old neighborhood in Austin, TX. That will only make this movie more enjoyable. Check out the trailer after the jump.
